Who
We Are:
We
are a non profit social and community service organization. The Woman's City
Club of Oswego is open to all women of Oswego.
Since
the formation of the Woman's City Club of Oswego in 1918and the purchase of
our present clubhouse in 1927, the women of our organization have pooled
their talent, experience and energies toward fulfilling their stated purpose
of " promoting education, civic, and philanthropic work in the
community and to bring into relations the mutual helpfulness of the women of
the City of Oswego".
What
We Do:
The
Woman's City Club of Oswego members accomplish community service goals in a
variety of forms. Through our committees and members, we transform public
concern into projects or activities that will benefit our community. In the
past projects have focused on education, health, beautification, arts,
scholarship program at Oswego High and community needs.
When
We Meet:
The
Woman's City Club meets every third Tuesday of the month at our clubhouse at
143 West Third St., Oswego. If you are interested about learning more about
our club you can attend a meeting as a guest or join our club by contacting
